Melissa Hubbard

Melissa Hubbard has been a servant of the Lord by the grace and Mercy of Jesus Christ since she accepted His free gift of salvation as a young child. She was born and raised in Natchez, Mississippi where was a member of the First Baptist Church. Melissa mostly enjoyed music, in particular, singing in church as a member of the youth choir and youth handbell choir.

Melissa Hubbard graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics with a minor in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management. Melissa is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi’s Dietetic Internship Program in 1998 and has been a Registered Dietitian since 1998. Melissa has worked as a Registered Dietitian in clinical nutrition, long-term care and public health. Currently Melissa has been serving the Lord as a Renal Dietitian with the University of Mississippi Medical Center outpatient dialysis since 2009.

While attending college in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Melissa joined Main Street Baptist Church. Melissa was a member of the church’s single ministry’s vocal group Single Heart. During this time, Melissa met and married the love of her life, Michael Hubbard in 1994. Currently Melissa resides in Brandon, Mississippi with her husband Michael. She also has a precious son, Alex, who recently accepted the Lord into his heart at the Go Tell America crusade in October 2023, and a precious daughter, Leigha, who is now celebrating her October 2022 salvation in Jesus Christ.

Melissa and her family are members of Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon, Mississippi.

Melissa’s favorite bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
